ABOUT ENVITE

Who We Are

In 2009, an assembly of international fashion executives came together with a design all their own. That initiative was to filter out the most coveted and top tier designer brands from the pool of vogue and bring that to the end consumer at discounts of up to 80% off retail prices. After extensive planning and linking up with key strategic partners, ENVITE.com was created and launched in 2010, combining over 30 years of experience in luxury apparel and accessories with a mix of technological edge.  It’s no secret that having New York City as a home base affords itself the luxury of being up to date on the latest trends and releases from top tier talent world-wide and we take pride in being able to source out only the best for our members.

What We Do

Through our talented buyers and unique associations with and fashion houses worldwide, we are able to mine a bevy of top tier brands from all walks of the couture world, be it Savile Row tailoring, Milanese runway or American luxury.  After careful research and coordination we then trigger ENVITE.com’s sophisticated channel by allowing our members premier access to these brands at prices of up to 80% off retail value in quick flash sales in order to offer as many brands as possible for everyone to enjoy. Our sales typically last from 24 - 48 hours but some sales may last up to 5 days.

The Science of ENVITE

Envite will incorporate much of the latest predictive analytics methodologies into its customer modeling but will focus on   a careful combination of predictors that we believe will perform better customer prediction by considering multiple aspects of our customers and their behaviors. Our intent will be to have our analytics find the right way to combine predictors by building a model optimized according to our customer data.

Others rely on this technology to builds models automatically. Envite is unique in that we will overlay sound marketing expertise to direct and integrate predictive analytics allowing it to better drive our business process. The alignment of predictive modeling techniques with database techniques, particularly those that permit data-partitioned parallelism and efficient analysis of high-dimensional data will differentiate our efforts at data mining.

But more importantly, all of our user interactions, from online user interfaces through social media and beyond will be about listening. Envite will create a ‘safe’ environment in which our members can freely express their interests and emotions. This ‘space’ enables us to capture and use analytics and relational database strategies to take the data that is revealed and provide contextual marketing opportunities to align desires with purchase activity.

Envite will use analytics to not only listen to our customers, but to respond strategically. Product offerings will be inherently tied to an understanding of what customers are thinking, expecting and demanding. Fashion is a unique marketing environment. We need to factor customer profile data, from hair color and body type, etc., together with psychographic preferences as well as the influence of styling and trending. The challenges are unique and our solutions are as well-tailored as the clothes we offer.

As we gather enough data our decision tree will be better informed. Voice-of-the-customer applications, combined with comprehensive analytics solution incorporating natural language processing will provide insight into client issues on both an individual or aggregate level.  We believe that incorporating these many levels of data into our predictive analytics solutions will enable Envite to get a truly comprehensive view of our customers.

The ability to understand what customers say through blogs and reviews is valuable, but if that is all the analysis generates, it is no different than segmenting based on transactional data in attempting to learn which customers spend the most on their goods and services. We believe in the need for a pro-active analysis where the analytics is used, together with the historical data to predict customer behavior.

Many retailers taking their first steps into predictive analytics use it to manage more than one predictor at a time, combining them with a model. The goal of their predictive analytics is to merely create this model. We go further; we rely heavily on contextual merit, to take into account the presence of other elements from relational databases to best determine how a given feature contributes to the discrimination of classes.

In this way, Envite is working to find the best predictive model and data mining combinations to allow us to better predict customer behavior.
